A small introduction to PHPFusion-mods.net
We at phpfusion-mods.net focus on bringing you the best mods available on the net + the support needed to install/modify them. We also like to inform people better of the SEO methods available for PHP-Fusion. Most PHp-Fusion powered websites still lack in the use of SEO technics.
We have just started and we are trying to create a nice and friendly community based on helping people. This is only possible if you help us, so all I can say is: join now!

15-06-2008 | As PHP-Fusion v7 is about to be released the v7 Infusions are being made/finished by many people. Therefor we have opened the new v7 mod download database. Not much to find there but it will be filled in the next couple of months.

Extboard
PHPFusion-mods.net is supporter of the EXTboard project by ZOC and Silvermoon. This project is currently at version 1.1 and is all about an advanced new version of the internal forum of PHP-Fusion.
EXTboard 1.0 was a very populair modification of PHP-Fusion. We did had to wait a bit but now version 1.1 is available, this version gives us even more functions and the structure has improved. The current (1.1) version can be seen on our forum.
EXTboard 1.1 gives you the opportunity to improve your standard PHP-Fusion forum, it will give you the functions of a PHPbb board or even SMF. The whole list of features can be seen on ZOC's Portal.
EXTboard is a project by ZOC and Silvermoon and is protected by the GNU/GPL license.

The PHP-Fusion version 6 vulnerability was officially linked to an Advanced Search System modification from mFusion developed by Wooya. You can download a patch by PMM at the following link (http://www.phpfusion-mods.com/) or you can download a patch by Wooya (which was just released) on the Polish site at the following URL (http://www.php-fusion.pl/).
^^ Official message of PHP-Fusion.co.uk site. The advanced search was also for download here. I disabled the download a few days ago. The download has now been patched and you can safely download/use this mod again. I suggest that everybody who is using this system patches his search.php immediately!!

Ok folks, as you know a security issue was reported yesterday. I and the dev team have been working on the issue and a fix is now available for v7. We have yet to discover v6's flaw at this time but we believe it may be a non core infusion.
Anyway v7 users, I have released a small update pack, simply extract the files and overwrite your existing files. Simply go to Upgrade in your admin panel and follow the prompts.
The SVN and full download packge has also been updated.
We have recently come across a vulnerability in PHP-Fusion version 7 and PHP-Fusion v6.01.11+. As of right now what we know is that php files are being uploaded via php-fusion to your servers which then provides a back door to allow users to compromise not only your site but the server itself depending on configuration of the servers.
What you can do: firstly check your downloads/attachments/forum attachments/avatars folders for .php files and delete them. Basically any folder chmodded 777 to allow users to upload files need to be chmodded back to 755 or to be more cautious to 644. As well check your list of administrators to see if you have any mysterious SA's.
We will endeavour to keep everyone updated as we know it. We are currently working on a fix.
A vulnerability has been detected in search.php, for now please delete it from your server. Join us on PHP-Fusion chat for progress and information updates. Please check your site footers and HTML areas, it seems this hack is also inserting URL's into peoples footers and other areas of the site to increase search engine rankings.
On October 6 the php-fusion team were notified that several community user websites have been hacked due to mods/infusions created by third parties, not php-fusion. The following website has some of those mods/infusions listed

Recently several community users websites have been hacked, from what we can tell this is not due to PHP-Fusion Core exploits but due to infusions/mods that have exploits. Doing a bit of research we have found that the following website has some of them listed. If you use any infusions/mods other than official infusions from staff please make sure you review this list and either disable or update the affected infusions/mods.
I always find it irritating to register only to see what a site has to offer... Therefor I now enabled public viewing of the download databases. To download however, you need to register. I find that this is a fair system.
Personally I think that everybody likes it that you can see the goods wihout needing the register for it.
Maintenance Mode - Added EXTboard and modified comments
Well it took a bit longer to succeed but we finally added the latest version of EXTboard (1.1) wit h a great (huge) set of new features. You can check them all in this forum post. Ofcourse, thats the place to be to post bugs, comments ect. The EXTboard is in Beta so we love to hear feedback and bugreports.
We also modified the comments, they now are a bit more protected against those dirty ass spammers.

After creating the new v7 mod download database I forgot to set another comment type for it. Result -> comments made on a v7 mod with the same item id with a v6 download where also displayed in the v6 mod/infusion....

Anyhow, it's fixed now but I was forced to delete some comments (sorry).
The team has worked hard the past 4 days. You can now download PHP-Fusion RC2 from the official main site, or from here . RC2 fixes several bugs found in the past days.
To update from v7 RC1, replace all files which are provided in the new RC2 package. You can also use this package to install PHP-Fusion 7. To update from v6.01.15, read the following tutorial:
Remember that Fusion v7 is using a different system so most infusions/mods designed from v6 won't work in v7. Disable or remove all third party mods/infusions before you upgrade!!!
All I can say is, applause for the PHP-Fusion crew!!!
The time has come, Digitanium is proud to announce PHP-Fusion 7. Although this isn't the final version, Digitanium announced that this is a quality working version.
You can install PHP-Fusion 7 clean or upgrade from Fusion v6.01.xx BUT infusions, themes and mods for v6 won't work on v7. You will have to modify, upgrade or delete those before you upgrade.
A bit unannounced but we moved the server. Reason is that 110MB changed the setup.
Nothing changed for the rest, it should be a bit faster. We were down for about 16 hours, too bad I didn't knew it upfront else I would warned you guys.
